On 02/28/17 about 4:46 PM, Napa Police Officers were dispatched to 1600 block of Myrtle Avenue (Valley Oak High School) regarding a report of a stabbing. Responding Napa Police Officers detained several subjects leaving the immediate area of the incident. One of the juveniles involved was stabbed during the fight. That juvenile was transported to a local area hospital for medical treatment.
The Napa Police Department Special Enforcement Unit (SEU) and Investigations Unit
responded to the scene and took over the investigation. Detectives learned this had been a gang related fight. On 02/28/17 two male juvenile suspects that had been detained by responding officers were arrested. On 03/01/17 two additional suspects were arrested. These four suspects were identified as participating in the fight. All four suspects were booked into the Napa County Juvenile Hall. All involved parties in the fight were not associated with Valley Oak High School, but are City of Napa residents.
