Victim: 31 year old Hispanic Male, identification pending
On 03/01/17 about 10:27 PM, Napa Police Officers were dispatched to Queen of the Valley Medical Center (QVMC) at 1000 Trancas Street in response to a staff initiated lockdown after a 31 year old male was dropped off at the Emergency Room suffering from a stab wound to the chest. The victim later succumbed to the injury on 03/02/17 at approximately 5:27 AM at QVMC.
Napa Police Department, Napa County Sheriff’s Department and Napa County District Attorney investigators responded. The investigation led officers to the area of Delpha Drive and Geraldine Court, located in the City of Napa. It was determined the victim got into an argument with someone he knew. The argument escalated to a physical fight. During the fight, the victim was stabbed. All involved parties have been located and are being interviewed regarding the incident.
